Hand Forged Cattail Sculpture
This gorgeous cattail sculpture was hand forged by Roy Adams of Christ Centered Ironworks. The metal cattails sculpture was a combination of several different techniques. The steel base was flame cut to create a unique texture. The leaves were forged from angle iron to give them distinct “veins”. The cattail head itself was forged from solid bar and brass brushed to give it golden highlights. This artfully made hand forged sculpture is bursting with texture and color. It is sealed with a clear coat enamel to protect the coloration of the steel.
Specifics: The metal sculpture stands 20” tall. The base is 6” in diameter. The sculpture is 9” wide at it’s widest point. The overall sculpture weights 5 pounds 12 ounces.
