*JANUARY 31, 2020- FORGING LIVESTREAM

*FEBRUARY 7, 2020- FORGING LIVESTREAM

*FEBRUARY 21, 2020- FORGING LIVESTREAM

*FEB 29-MARCH 1, 2020- FORGE WELDING INTENSIVE
Roy will be teaching forge welding intensive class at Tiller's International. In this class, you will learn various types of forge welding such as lap weld, tee weld, jump weld, butt weld, bird’s mouth weld, and glut weld. Class will take place in Scotts, Michigan and you can sign up at their website here.
*APRIL 30- MAY 3, 2020- OZARK CONFERENCE
Roy will be demonstrating for the Blacksmith Association of Missouri during these days. Conference events include activities such as demonstrations, forging competitions, an auction, a raffle, potlucks, and more. Visit their website for more details here.
*MAY 30 & 31, 2020- BLACKSMITHING 101
This entry level class is taught by Roy Adams of Christ Centered Ironworks. During this class, you will learn the fundamentals of forging including the basic hammer blows used in blacksmithing. You will also learn forging operations such as tapering, twisting, punching, upsetting, bending, cutting and spreading metal. Class will take place in Goshen, Ohio. Flyer is here for this class.
*JUNE 27 & 28, 2020- SCROLLS & TOOLING
During this weekend blacksmithing class, we are going to deep dive into scrollwork. Possible scroll ends to be covered include: ribbon end, snub end, half penny, bean end, rosette end and spade end. We will also forge tooling that will assist us in our scroll making endeavors. We will discuss various types of scroll jigs. The focus of this class is to get students proficient at making scrolls. *AUGUST 29 & 30, 2020- FORGED FLORAL FORMS
This class will focus on expressive forging to create floral forms. There is no precise equation to create a perfect forged botanical… that is where experimentation comes in. Roy will share techniques for creating several petal and leaf types as well as texturing techniques. Students will have the opportunity to have guided experimentation as they create floral forms from their own imagination. Class location is Goshen, Ohio. Class flyer is found here.
*NOVEMBER 28-29, 2020- FORGED STOCKING STUFFERS
This holiday themed blacksmithing class taught by Roy Adams of Christ Centered Ironworks will focus on forging Christmas gifts. Possible projects to be covered include ornaments, napkin holders, hooks, and such. Projects will be different than the ones from the previous year. Students can expect to complete several beginner level presents during the class. Class is located in Goshen, Ohio and the flyer is here.
